Born in a family traditionally engaged in manufacture of machines, Vishnu Panchal had a very early training in the rough grind of the shop floor itself. Manufacture of machines has been his love ever since.

After completion of formal engineering studies he began his professional life with the manufacture of a Dewatering Screw Press for Anil Starch Products Ltd., Ahmedabad. The success and warm acceptance inspired his to found Geeli Machinery Works in 1965. A simple man and a believer of the axiom, "Greatness lies not in doing extraordinary things, but ordinary things extraordinarily", he has since then, devoted himself to perfecting the art and science of manufacturing Dewatering Screw Presses.
